Vailox is a decentralized peer-to-peer (P2P) platform for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. We connect buyers and sellers directly, using blockchain escrow to secure every transaction without centralized intermediaries.

We’re a group of traders who started operating in P2P and ran into the same problems again and again: weak security, custodial setups you don’t control, and platforms that aren’t built for real traders. That’s why we created Vailox—a platform built by traders, for traders—focused on security, self-custody (to reduce the risk of theft and security failures), and blockchain escrow to protect every transaction.

When a trade is initiated, the seller's crypto is locked in a smart contract. The buyer then sends the fiat payment. Once the seller confirms receipt, the smart contract automatically releases the crypto to the buyer. This ensures both parties are protected. The contract owner cannot steal or interact with the locked funds, as they are secured by the smart contract logic. The owner can only intervene if one of the parties opens a dispute, in which case they can release the funds to either the buyer or the seller based on the dispute resolution.

We built our smart contract on top of a codebase that has already been audited by a reputable security firm and has proven its robustness over time. Using an established, audited foundation increases confidence and reduces risk. Because it is released under an open-source license, using it as a base is fully permitted. We’ve made only minimal, targeted modifications to optimize it without changing the underlying structure, and the final code has been re-audited by the cybersecurity firm HelixNebula.

No, Vailox doesn't require mandatory KYC. You can start trading immediately by connecting your Web3 wallet. Our reputation system allows users to build trust through verified trades.

Currently, Vailox supports USDT and USDC stablecoins. We're actively working on adding more cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

We support multiple payment methods including bank transfers, Bizum, PayPal, Revolut, Wise, and more. Sellers can choose which payment methods they accept for their listings.

If there's a disagreement between buyer and seller, either party can open a dispute. Our admin team will review the evidence provided by both parties and make a fair resolution. The escrowed funds will be released according to the dispute outcome.
